Arizona Chickens

Help...
I'm so sick of the cockroaches...
The chickens love them when they find them, or I crush them and save them for morning treats... How can I kill the bugs, and not poison my girls... DE is not working, borax is not working. beer traps didn't work.... Help.please....

i plan to do that in the fall , so they wont be hot being cooped up ,i can collect all my Aussies eggs like that . but im sure they wont like it one bit ...lol. :p

Well, too bad if they don't like it. At least you will be able to have descendants of the Hupp line from them before they are too old to give you any.

ATTENTION

I work at the ACE Hardware on Hougton and it has come to my attention that people arent buying chickens. XD

JUST WANTED TO GIVE EVERYONE ON THIS FORUM A HEADS UP THAT THE ACE ON HOUGHTON HAS DAY OLDS AND 4 WEEKS OLDS AND NO ONE IS BUYING THE 4 WEEKS OLDS BECASE EVERYONE THINKS THE DAY OLDS ARE CUTER AND ARE BEING BOUGHT INSTEAD

I'm not sure what happens to chicks when they arent purchased before they become to big for the brooder, but i dont think I would like to know.... hopefully nothing like my overactive imagination is torturing me aboout.

IF ANYONE IS LOOKING FOR EGG BIRDS, SHOW BIRDS, OR JUST MORE CHICKS, come to ACE on Hougton and get some!!! the older ones ar e the ones im concerned about, there are Buttercups, an Easter Egger, two California Whites, Rhode Island Reds, Gold Sex Links, and Barred Rocks.

They need homes and if my mom and dad wouldn't kill me for having more chickens they would all be at my house by now.
4 week old are referred to as started chicks around here. They bring in a higher price than day old.
Here is a quick link to some @ $17 +

@nicollee if they are coming up through your drains put steel wool in them.
Make sure you don't have any water leaks, you'll find them there too.

My husband resorted to spraying in the house when we were having problems rather than outside. I can handle about any bug being around, but not roaches:sick

I think all the leaks are fixed.... most drains have blocks on them, they just randomly show up on the walls in the bedrooms.... (UGHHHH) These guys are HUGE, and they fly. I'm afraid I may have to get rid of my garden, and the mulch pile, I thought the chickens would take care of bugs in the mulch, but they don't seem to. And the garden gives them plenty of space to hide and multiply... Last week my husband had them drop, onto him, off the overhead (shade) trumpet vines on the porch:oops:. He wants to tear them all down.... ;( :he Just looking for options....
Thanks for all suggestions.

Learn something new everyday.:):yesss: In the Midwest the German cockroaches are the leaders. They do not fly. When I go to a restaurant, I look at the footwear of the cooks. If they are wearing fashion as below, there is only one reason.

That does not sound like an appealing place to eat... Do you stay or go?
