What really gets me going is that the developer of some areas around here, put in big 2 acre lots, named it "American Ranch" and you can have up to 4 horses, but only 8 chickens, not even 1 rooster! This is in the county, too.

Anywhere you can have horses should not put restrictions on other animals. JMO.

You got my message! I can not believe that they have a category "horses" and a separate one "farm animals"! LOL It frosts me! Really makes house shopping a pain. I won't even drive over any more until I look it up on the county web page for the zoning.

I was questioned that very thing and was told that "horses qualify as rodeo animals and transportation". When's the last time you saw someone riding a horse on the interstate?
