Are these chickens from the Aseel ,,, Asil family/breed of chickens???

The Malay's are actually supposed to be from Malasia. But I've read that many here in the states have been cross bred with Asil, because true Malay's are rare here. No idea what these birds histories are. His legs are much shorter than they are supposed to be, so I suspect he may be crossed.

I have always been interested in the Malay breed. I've seen some photos online and I swear the roosters look like they're taller than me I'm really happy you have acquired some, let us know how they do! They are quite a sight to behold. I need to get this garden project finished because I am seriously itching for some more birds!

Ya know after what I've read, I expected them to be bigger. But then I've got some Jersey Giant birds that I'm raising right now and I think any other chicken breed would have a hard time looking big against them... haha! Here's some Red Pyle ones that were at the show... just look at those legs!!!

What are the white NN's in the pics mixed with? Yes, maybe I'm window shopping again...

Ya know I'm really not sure. The white pullet is from the same batch of eggs that the mottled rooster you got from me hatched from. That batch from KnM Farms in Alabama. The white cockerel is from the black Transylvania girls and whatever genes they came with from their previous flock when I first got them. A total recessive mystery. I want to breed them, along with a white TNN hen I got with my Bresse and try to make NN Bresse. But I don't know what they are hiding under that white.

hey all, you know the animal rights commercials that come on to support abused animals and they usually show just dogs and cats for like ever? well i recently saw one of those commercials again and now they are showing abused and caged up chickens! I'm just glad that awareness for their mistreatments is getting out there..

It was announced on a few facebook groups. I guess if you aren't on those or active in 4H then you do kinda get left out... I don't think they even changed the sign at the fairgrounds until the last minute... I went last year, but only for like 15 minutes.. I had a really bad headache and all the crowing and squawking made me want to curl up in a corner and die. I'm not really one for getting involved in shows, but some people kept asking me if I was gonna enter some of my birds so I finally gave in and did it. Haha!! I don't know if I'll enter any next year, but ya, it's a cool even to hang out. I'll try to remember to let this group know next year.

meetthebubus OMG yes wonderful...!!!! FINALLY ..!!!!! MY GOSH...!!! & i pray for even more laws ..!!! to keep bad people from abusing these poor live beings with feelings and who do suffer in pain wile being abused..!! ALL my girls have a wonderful life ,and i make sure of that ..! they are all free ranging and happy with lots of good healthy food & vitamins plus a lot of different kinds of treats every afternoon , my neighbors bring me all kinds of food for the chickens , fruit and veggies and bread, rolls and other stuff the chickens love, so its a happy life here for all my special sweet girls & boys to, i have here with me , they are my family and i love being around them all so happy and sweet ,and chattering away with glee about the tasty bugs they just ate ....lol.... and to me they are very special little beings all with different personalities and different ways of speaking the chicken lingo ...lol..and just seeing them every morning so happy makes me happy ...!!! i cant understand any one who could ever think of harming them ...? to me its just so sick of any one who would want to harm any poor defenseless chicken .? ??????? GOSH ...? anything like that just turns my stomach...! since i can feel their fear & pain..!!
