Arizona Chickens

I have one super sweet ee, Honey (aptly named before I knew what a sweetie she was) she is always so hot, panting, making panting noises, always warmer than most
I worry about her, I don't see her drink as much or stay in the puddles, she's healthy and eats well, I put drops of water on her beak she won't drink, I mean obviously she drinks some but not enough I don't know how to help her, entice her to help herself like the others any ideas or thoughts?

Watermelon? Cantaloupe? Something like that in order to get more moisture in and keep her hydrated even if she doens't want to be. :)

Yes, although I'd have to hand feed this stubborn girl I guess I'll just set aside some stuff and lap feed her, I had to lap feed punky last summer when she was broody so she wouldn't die, wish chickens had logic lol

It is soooo nice outside for 10 am, no sun, big breeze, the chickens look so super happy, they are bathing and foraging when usually they are panting in the mansions by now

I love monsoon time this place wouldn't be livable without it, its been a cool summer so far!

This is totally not chicken related, but we found out today that we are having a baby girl! :love Which means my husband is pretty outnumbered...haha. Maybe I can talk him into getting a rooster around here?

Aww congratulations! So exciting! :wee:wee
Post a pic if you want! When's the due date? Or due month if you don't want to be specific
How are you feeling? I was sooo sick during mine:sick
