I dunno, I think Minnesota gets more of the "lake effect" like Michigan, don't it? It's the climate difference that worries me. No I followed the tracking. It originated in MN and didn't even get checked in at the post office until late that night.Soooo sad..
I always thought that chicks were shipped Air Mail. The distance would be no different if Minnesota , or Iowa. (insignificant)
Maybe there was a mixup in the routing of the package.![]()
It went: Received in St Paul at 8:29 pm, Sept 26(wed)... In transit Sept 27(thurs)... Arrived in Phoenix at 1:15 am, Sept 28(fri)... Departed 8:10am, Sept 28... Arrived at Fort Thomas PO at 10:00 am, Sept 29(sat). (It's a 3 hour drive from Phoenix to Fort Thomas... not including the other stops a truck would have to make on the way.) My postal guy says it was probably checked as departed but sat on a shelf because the truck that brings our stuff from Phoenix leaves at 1:00 am, so they would have gotten there at the exact same time our truck was leaving. So they would have sat on the shelf in Phoenix from arrival in Phoenix at 1 am Friday morning until 1 am Saturday morning before hitting here at 10 am. IMO, if MN had gotten them to the PO sooner they wouldn't have missed our truck and might still be alive.
Sorry, hope that wasn't too much......
