Arizona Chickens

I've only lived in warmer climates, so I'm used to it, I had a friend in Australia who says imagining Christmas in the cold is really weird as seeing Santa on the beach in the heat is Christmas to them lol (I am jealous of the fall look with trees though like in MA.) ;)

too cute! I love ee's

Santa on the beach!? But yes definitely what you are used to!! And yes I love the trees!

HI all, gosh im sorry to say a few days ago my beautiful rain bow blue hupp blood line austrolorp hen passed away of natural causes , I have found this pic of her & my other big black hupp hen , I still have, plus I have a wonderful hupp blood line big blue roo he is so wonderfully kind and smart , & never crows much, so im hoping they will produce more hupp line chicks, but the old black hen is not laying hardly at all..? so fingers crossed they can produce any hupp line chicks , hopefully in the spring , I have been looking for the better part of a year for a sweet broody to hatch those eggs since I want a sweet mommy bird to hatch them, so they can be raised by a loving mommy hen & have a great natural free range life here with all my flock .:fl:thumbsup :D

I still have my Splash Australorp hen over here, and she went broody this past summer. She's making some Naked Neck cross chicks right now. She's the only full Australorp that I have left here. Sorry that you lost your Blue Australorp hen.
