Not making a pet out of him, just trying to insure that he sticks around, I'd much rather have a snake that takes care of the dangerous ones, than walk out one day and get bitten... what I'd like to put a end too is the damned piss ants, their all in the coop and the run.. waiting for my duster to get in so that I can cover everything in DE.. I get bit and then have nerve spasms for the next 4 hours.. they tore up my feet the other day. it was miserable, I wanted to scratch my skin off.

@starri33 If they are biting your feet in the coop and run, then they are biting the chicken's feet too. I use the Permethrin 10 on the ant's around here.

Make sure you use safety precautions , to avoid getting that DE into your lungs.

Check those fluids, could be a fan going bad too. That shouldn't happen even on a hot day.

You are right about checking. As a constant driver of old, and small, cars I have had the awareness of overheating when at idle for many years. A new car or truck ought not have this problem as much. New fresh radiator fluid after an incident like that is always a good idea, too. I drove a tiny 3 cyl Chevy Sprint for 17 years, and 2 radiators. But even when new, the small car needed forward motion to keep cool with it's tiny radiator! But. 45 mpg.

Argh... keep losing what i type. Truck is at the mechanics now, so ill know soon enough what it is. Unfortunately they close early today, for the weekend! But they will give me a loaner car if they aren't done in time. I had a complete overhaul of everything about 6 months ago, radiator and water pump are fairly new, so probably is a fan.

I just had both dogs and four chickens all trying to sit in my lap at the same time!! I think everyone is cold!! Im cranking the ac so i can super cool the house. We are approaching 70 at the moment... brrrr❄ cant wait to shut it off
