My kids used to sing that for the cockerels! AHHH -- the 80's. So politically incorrect. They also sang "Walk like an Egyptian", words were "Walk like a chicken" ! The only correct names for those Cornish-X were, "Nugget", "Drumstick" "Wing Man", etc. We had much fun making up names for them.

Definitely the age of not-PC... we would watch Benny Hill together as a family in the evening no way in hell would i let my kids watch that, or jump around the car without seat belts, or smoke in the car w the windows rolled up with them.. ok maybe it's good its in the past

Well, 2 of pullet's were rehomed. They wanted a NN and a Dorking, so now there's still 6 more Dorking pullet's plus a cockerel to go with them that up for grab's left.

@Parront Did you buy a candler when you bought the incubator, so that you can check on the development of your duck egg's?

How cool! I got one for my chickens too. They pecked it when i first gave it to them, but have seemed to lose interest. Ill hang it in their playground in the next project (or next, next, next project).

Im watching antenna tv.. emergency! Is on.. and first few minutes they are trying to get into a house fire, and someone yells, grab the asbestos blanket!! It's like a time capsule! I guess that's a sign to get back to the projects

OMG, did anyone else have a crush on Johnny? Roy was good looking, too.

(taking notes) Chicken equipment needed:
1. 1 xylophone
2. 4 tablets
Do they have a channel for roosters? I crowed back the other day, and the silly bird jumped up to the highest perch, fluffed his feathers, and let loose with lots of crowing. He'd probably have a ball with a rooster video.

We did get some snow here last night. It doesn't cover everything and the roads and driveway are clear, but we got some. Winter should be just about over.

Just go to YouTube and type in rooster's crowing, and you will find a bunch of them.

Well, I'm getting ready to put my egg's in the incubator. This will be my first hatch of 2021. I haven't done one since June of last year. I'm only setting 12 egg's this time, as I already have more chicken's than what I need.

We got lots more rain overnight, whatever seeds were waiting to sprout finally have their chance!

Btw, rose petals are ending up a favorite, even preferred over mealworms!!

If you search for Chicken TV on youtube, a lot of people have made long clips with no talking. Im going to download them all and put them on a playlist.

It does have a little light, a better one might be nice.
