Arsenic is natural, its everywhere, even in apples.
We had some wells closed up here due to the concentration of arsenic in the water. When there is a drought it is worse. I would be concerned about it since I have a well, but our well just goes dry in a drought! Eating the eggs and meat of chickens fed arsenic might have an effect on people over a lifetime of making it a large part of your diet. Right now, I am eating eggs every day!

Anything near super rocky areas or old mining towns has super high arsenic and and other pollution.. unfortunately. A lot of southern (near Sierra Vista) and some areas they have to filter it out of the water. I guess you and your ants are lucky!
Maybe you should keep the Dorkings and start an "ant eater" chicken project!
