Went out for my DH's birthday dinner this evening. Red Lobster has really changed. The menu is smaller and there was no longer any King Crab that my DH had been craving. I had the one that they called A Mariner's Feast. I brought what I couldn't eat in a go container back home for Buster, our dog.

I never visited the restaurant, but today I purchased 2 boxes of this Biscuit Mix.
I have made it before, but only had one box.... Makes 10, so not that big of a quantity for the effort to bake. I will bake both boxes.

I don't like seafood, the 1 time I went to red lobster I ordered chicken strips, I'm that weirdo

Are you able to grow some of your own hatch chili's up there where you are?

They will grow, but everyone says not to bother. They say there's something in the soil in New Mexico that makes Hatch chilis taste so good, and it's not in our soil. Vendors have been selling them along the sides of the road, and they're available at Bashas'. Might as well enjoy them while they're here. They freeze pretty well.

They will grow, but everyone says not to bother. They say there's something in the soil in New Mexico that makes Hatch chilis taste so good, and it's not in our soil. Vendors have been selling them along the sides of the road, and they're available at Bashas'. Might as well enjoy them while they're here. They freeze pretty well.

Aside from garlic, a pineapple, and a tomato plant that happened to sprout in my compost, I haven't had any luck growing much of anything here that's not a cactus or succulent. Arizona broke my green thumb.

That's ok, I like restaurant's that have menu's that give you more choices. When it's my birthday, I always pick the Black Angus Restaurant for the prime rib. My Dh love's King Crab so that's why we went to Red Lobster.

I haven't been to Black Angus yet but Texas Roadhouse is my favorite, Outback is a close second.
