Arizona Chickens

Yes, and I was at a Fry's earlier this afternoon. I looked for that there out of curiosity. The bag's are too small, and it's only scratch or layer pellet's. I won't be writing home about it.

I only see that ad here at the top of the page before I get signed in. Then it goes away because I have the paid membership.
Too small - that's what I figured - it's more for suburban backyard flock owners with smaller flocks or maybe those raising a few chicks. I'd have to travel 40 minutes to get to a Fry's - while local feed store is only 5-10 minutes away.

There wasn't no bag's of the chick feed there, only the layer and scratch. You are probably right about it being for those that can only have 3 or 4 laying hen's, or in case you need some quick until you can get to the regular feed store.

The latch on the run didn't latch and my roo Whitey was out most of the day - from his tracks I see he went to visit his father Roger and Roger's girls by looking thru the gate. But this totally white roo survived the day outside his run - I'm surprised & relieved considering the hawks consistently overhead.
Good thing that the coyotes or loose neighborhood dog's weren't out too! Glad he's ok.

All my chicks insist on being cuddled like this or on my lap in my arms. I have the other Wyandotte baby who crawls into your lap and wants a true cuddle with arms wrapped around her and your undivided attention. If you give it to the others in the flock, she nips you to say she is right there!

Everything I read up on says the breeds of babies I brought home are all stand-off ish and the older hens (5 months each) are supposed to be hands on types. I think they changed their personalities with each other! 😂😂

Dang do I love them all though!

Ahhhh look how pretty my girls are! My baby boy is still unknown about. I haven’t heard from the vet yet but no news is good news right??

Also that’s my kitten Binx, he is growing up around the babies and keeps on trying to “pet” the babies.

I gotta get pics of my big girls again but they already put themselves into bed since a storm is brewing again.

I candled the egg's in the incubator last night. I ended up tossing out all of the Bielefelder egg's because of no development. I think that the rooster is still just going after the youngest one's that are easier to grab. The 2 Welsh Harlequin duck egg's that belong to my neighbor's are having good growth in them though.
