Arizona Chickens

I was out there a bit ago trying to thin out some of the over grown aloe vera plants out. While I was standing still one of those little humming bird's showed up and was getting the nectar from the flowers on some of it.
Awww! Humming birds are nice to see around. We have seen a couple around the house and are going to put up feeders. We are just worried the wasps will want the feeder too…

Hello Arizona peeps, some of you know I have been gone doing our Free Plant n Garden Stands Org, I miss all of you and your flock posts. I did start a form on here for the gardening stands. Stop by and say hello and or if you go to any of our stands in Arizona. https://www.backyardchickens.com/threads/free-plant-n-garden-stands-org.1575758/
Yes, you've been gone from here for awhile now. I just gave a few Aloe Vera plants that I had to thin out to @NuggetMama because she said that she couldn't find any available down where she lives at near the Mexican border. I hope that she can get them to grow well for her. My Aloe Vera is way over grown.

Yes, I have. So busy, but all fun! I make an aloe fertilizer when I get to many. Cut it up into bite size pieces, fill the bucket with water. Let sit for 4-7 days, gets a bit stinky. Then use one cup fertilizer to one gallon of water. Pour over you indoor and outdoor plants. Is @Desert Marcy been on here?

Might have to be careful with the standing water if you have any mosquitoes' around where you live as they love that.

No, Desert Marcy hasn't been here in years. I don't know if she moved or what.

4 days won't bring them, by 7 they start to hang around. I kind of figured, but still think about her. And a few others.

I am home! We put the babies in their brooder and they instantly started to dust bathe in the shavings. They are teaching the silkies how it’s done 😂😂. The silkies were watching them soooo close then flopped over and tried to toss shavings onto themselves but ended up kicking them everywhere but onto themselves !

They will get the hang of it.
