I think I'll look at real chickens instead. The AI chicken pics are too realistic and clean to be real... kind of creepy.

I agree, but they do make nice picture's. Society is already in the AI stuff. It's all over and connected to the internet. The only way to try to avoid it, is to take your computer's and smart phones to the dump.

I've noticed that this new incubator that I bought doesn't hold the humidity well when it's not full of egg's, and that causes the alarm to go off on it. I have it pretty full of egg's now, and it's holding the humidity much better. I wasn't going to give the seller on Amazon a rating until I tested it out first.

That's good to know. I tried to shut down my incubators and friends instantly ask me to hatch for them . So now my Java peahen just started laying much awaited eggs and both of my incubators are full. Anyway, been debating getting another but want to try a different brand this time. Something less expensive and roomier. And with upright egg turners maybe. My current incubators are all side laying turners.

Yes, my NR 360 is one that you lay the egg's on the side inside of it. This bigger one, you stand them up with the small end down in it. I don't know how big a peacock's egg is, but this incubator could probably handle those emu egg's in it if you didn't put the turner in it, and marked both side's of an egg with either an "X" or an "O" and were to hand turn them 3 times a day? It say's to push any of the button's to stop the alarm, and if you took the lid off to do that, it would set the alarm off.

I've never tried the 360. Do you find you get a higher rate of wrong end pips with it? My rcoms do. Not too bad with smaller eggs, but it gets worse with the bigger eggs like peas and geese. Maybe because I'm using the adjustable turners instead of set size turners. The egg trays I have tend to push the eggs against each other a lot and sometimes the small end gets tipped upwards a little.

You don't lift the lid to turn off the alarm. Lifting the lid is either when you candle, or are hand turning larger egg's like emu if they won't fit into the turner. You can push any button on the front of the incubator to stop the alarm when you put the lid back on. You add any water to the back of the machine, as there is a little hole there to do it.

I guess in the 360 they might get confused by the way that they have to lay on their side's like that.

It's a Sailnovo one that holds 55 egg's in it. I bought it on Amazon, and it's cheaper priced then the NR 360 that only holds 22 egg's.
