Arizona Chickens

Mama Hen Chris they are so cute, I wish I could have chicks again, they are so much fun watching them grow.
They are cute for sure but they grow too fast. My silkies are setting on 17 Marans and Olive eggers for a friend that are due to hatch on the 10th. Will have them (chickies) for a couple weeks and then they go to their real home. I can enjoy them and snap pics too. No more chicks for me as my coop runneth over now. I am at my limit. I have to find a home for my Blue Copper Marans brothers and a Splash Orpington.

That's it! I give up! Now you have to come over with your camera and take pictures for me! They are just too good! :) The first picture is simply amazing, and I love the dog looking through the screen door!
Maybe will have to take a trip down your way some day. That is Murphy my Shih Tzu. He and his sister were still in the "NO TOUCH" training I was working on with them. No dogs outside unless on a leash when the chicks were free ranging. It will be 3 years in July having chickens and the dogs are pretty good around them. Miley and one of the Buff girls

Ernie, my Shih Tzu. A couple days ago Lucy (RIR) picked his tail. He ran to my protection. At that point they all know they could push him around. :lau

That is just too cool. I am very interested in stuff like that. Science, Smithsonian, & National Geographic are among the only magazines I get.

It has been years but I am still excited about a new creature discovered on the lips (mouth parts) of a cold water lobster. It's stomach is inside out. It was discovered by a resources that had just gotten a new toy. Spent the night getting it up and running, then needed something to look at. Another lab had lobsters, so he borrowed one. When he zoomed in he saw something, then got close and personal. Apparently the next day showing off the pictures from his new very powerful toy, he found out his discovery.

That same year an award was given to a young man for mapping the "Opps Center" in the brain. Studying brain activity, he noted that on all the subjects when they made a mistake the same region of the brain would light up. He named it the "Opps Center". Scientific world disliked the simple name. They thought it should be a name no one can pronounce.

Almost done! Check out the beautiful door that Gallo made

We planted rose bushes in front of it. Mr. Lincoln on the left, Golden Showers Cl. on the right. I love golden showers! It is one of the only really fragrant climbing roses that does well in Tucson.

Oh COME ON! Am I the only one laughing? Or just the only one willing to admit I'm thinking what everyone else is thinking and just won't say it? Fine then, forget I said anything.

Nice work on the coop.
