Regarding the Chandler Chicken Ordinance change.
I think (not personally, just trying to clarify) this is an improvement. It says that anyone can NOW have chickens no matter their lot size where as before you had to have a certain size considering their enclosure had to be 200 feet away from the nearest residence. 200 feet is a lot bigger than normal "track home" backyards. They limit the chicken count to five with this proposed change, but I don't know what the limit is now for those that meet the above distance requirement. So it sounds like they are making everyone able to have chickens but perhaps limiting those that already have chickens to only five.
