Arizona Chickens

Can't believe that DH brought home some moringa tree seeds!! His friend from work gave him 3.
He got them from his family in the Dominican Republic.. Hopefully these will thrive & we can share..
I have heard of people grow them into a shrub. They use the leaves for their chickens..
Chech out how how amazing this tree is!

the more i read about it the more i really think my yard needs one.

tribbles

Just as long as we're not talking gremlins!
...
not a trekie, so I don't really know what tribbles are. strangely they look an awful lot like SILKIES!!!!!!!!!! and yes, my ducks must be descendants of gremlins. oddly enough, the muscovies are about to multiply on Thursday!!!

Welcome to NPIP Arizona Style.  I honestly do not know anyone in the state who is NPIP certified.  Probably Hickmans...
AZ get it together! I guess we just don't have the program set up properly.

I know Lacy can test birds, but I wasn't aware that he is supposed to be running the program.  I wonder if HE knows?  He is on facebook, so you can contact him there.

I just PMed Lacy on facebook to ask him.
please let me know what he says :)

Arizonachickens: hostilehare.com has the schedule

Can I pretend silkies are tribbles??? That be awesome.

I just got off the phone talking to Flower. She has locker herself out of her computer, she asked e toget the ball rolling on the PROCESSING PARTY. She can come down at the end of the month. It is BYOB (bring your own bird) and knife. She will be bringing a non-volenter :( . We need to find out when most people will be free and where we can get to gather. I am free any time, PM my what days you will be available, she would like to have it after 17:00 or 18:00 (5 - 6). She will be driving down in the morning and has things she would like to do before the class (to my understanding).

We are all over the valley if in Tempe or Mesa, if enough from West side we could car pool to another side of town, :/ it may be interesting people and chickens in one car/truck. It would be more quite on the return trip. I will call flower when we have a date.

Sundays or thursdays work for me. Either or. I dont know I can get larger enough fryers. Ill find out.
Possibly able to careful a van from queen creek to tempe. Depends on if the trans gets fixed next week.
Bigger van tho, we could pack it full of coo coo chicken folks!

I'm interested in a processing class too. I've had one lesson from AZKat at her house but that was a while ago and I would like to see a skinning version. Any day works for me just as long as it doesn't end in Y.
I ended up picking up a Moringa tree over the weekend since I never had any luck with the seeds, it's a tiny thing though. Can't wait to witness how fast they grow.

Well, if she wants it in the evening, my house is open and available regardless of the day. I will be home by about 1530 Hours and should have adequate room, like I mentioned before. I am off on Sundays and Mondays starting next week, so either day works the best for me, but I'm flexible during the evenings for the rest of the week.
