Arizona Chickens

Oh, my goodness, even if you are not a Star Trek fan, you HAVE to see "The Trouble With Tribbles" episode!

For some reason I couldn't get the evil gremlin picture to work.  I do remember that the change had to do with water...

It was food,I think, you could not feed them after midnight or else......... I wonder if you got on a airplane and moved with the sun keeping 5 minutes to midnight you could feed a Gremlin 24 hrs straight? :th
Gremlins that eat and multiply are mean and nasty. Trebles on the other hand are sweet and cuddly, give you good feelings, unless you are a Klingon, they do not like Klingons and Klingons do not like Trebles
:D i guess you now know. . Live long and prosper

I'm interested in a processing class too. I've had one lesson from AZKat at her house but that was a while ago and I would like to see a skinning version. Any day works for me just as long as it doesn't end in Y.
I ended up picking up a Moringa tree over the weekend since I never had any luck with the seeds, it's a tiny thing though. Can't wait to witness how fast they grow.

Well, if she wants it in the evening, my house is open and available regardless of the day. I will be home by about 1530 Hours and should have adequate room, like I mentioned before. I am off on Sundays and Mondays starting next week, so either day works the best for me, but I'm flexible during the evenings for the rest of the week.

Where ever for us.. We could do sat or Sunday. August 24-25 is good for us.. We have 1 roo. Kent Jr. Buff silkie..Unless someone wants him..
Our dearest friend has one as well.. So that is 2.. I will be asking around for the friends who has some of our chicks..
We will bring beer..

i put all the processing replies in one spot... looks like sunday after 5 is working for everyone. ??
i can be there and can bring extra cockerels with me to share if someone wants to go and doesnt have anything to process.
are we set on a location yet?

Anyone know a place in Arizona, preferably east valley (gilbert, mesa) where I can buy 2-3 chicks? Looking for Barred Plymouth Rock Bantams in particular.
Thanks!

NPIP..... Why are you interested in becoming certified or participating in that program? Is there something you expect to gain from it or do you need birds health tested? Just curious why it is an issue at all? The state does not have an NPIP program. I have worked with the state vet and am the program at the time being but as I discussed with the health officials, NPIP program needs to be fixed.
It is not needed to ship, if someone told you that they are wrong. You can get a health certificate or I can test your flock for you. PT test is valid for all states and meets the shipping requirements. I know I routinely ship. Last year to 17 states..... I will get with the state Vet and get the program going of there is enough legitimate interest, but do you want to open up your yard to more government oversite? I am not too keen on someone who does not know birds as well as I do, walking through my place and telling me what's wrong? Typical government. I will help anyone with their birds. Just ask.

. This is my Silke Soup. It is comfort food. I used a number of Asian vegetables, assortment of mushrooms, my favorite Sea Weed, added a touch of Tamarind, and lemmon Zest and juice, but I think it would have been better if I left off the Tamerande. I chopped it up with the bones to add to the flavor. It was wonderfully rich, despite my getting carried a way with to many favors added. It could have been much better if I was a little more simple, cleaner flavors. Lighter on the ginger, less mushrooms, no Tamarind.

I will all Flower and tell her that it will be a Sunday afternoon, tentatively at 5:00 (17:00). The location in fair North West is the only one off reed so at this point. No one in Central Phoenix as off yet. We have a little time to set up a location, I am great full for Demosthine offering. PM me, a divan give you address and phone number of where it will be. I am going to wait hoping for any one in Centeral Phx.

You can also when you take the spurs off put the stuff used for dogs toe nails when you quick them and they bleed, that way you do not have to worry about infection and flies! OR you could put him in the pot and eat him!!
