I've been letting the girls out almost everyday lately. Only when I'm home, though. They really love wandering around and I've found multiple spots where they've dug out to bask it or cool off in depending on location.
I keep asking them not to crap on the patio, but they don't listen very well.

Yeah, I thought they were smart? Shoot I just sray them to keep them off our front patio..
You guys still coming tomorrow? Redrocket & I are carpooling.. I have 3 Roos.. Coq AU Vin on its way...

Oh man that was a blast !!! I was sore from winning against my teenagers.. Ha! They said I cheated.. I say give an old lay a chance to
cheat.. Nawww.. However they figured out my moves and then won...is grabbing the ball for a milisecond count??

My Dad's forearms were all black and blue from the bruises after his and my game. Hopefully, soreness was the extent of your pain. But I bet you'd do it again...

Manda and I are looking forward to coming. I wasn't able to acquire any Craig's List roosters, though, so we'll just socialize. It'll be nice to see everyone again.

Love those buttercups! Where did you get them? I have 2 about that same age, one boy and one girl. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with the boy. He's a long way from crowing so I have a little bit to think about it.

For those that are coming, this is what I have,

The grill is stuck, I will need help to move it into place, the 2 cooking fire pots, get very hot on very little fuel. The smaller one is just right for a pot, any size.

I have cups, plates and plastic ware and napkins, almost out of paper towels, I have plastic to cover the 8x4 plywood work table. I have 3 chairs, (1 folding, 1 very old plasice, one a chair that had been soiled and I fond it at my place. I have a 48" square table, and an iron round table, in the living room

1 chair can not be sat in because it is broken, I had been my grandparents.

I wish I could be a better host, it will be an adventure. You need to bring chairs. I did not get my work table cleaned, instead I help with mother. I'm not apologizing, if I did it would mean that I would be apologizing for caring for my mother. I just feel sad I didn't get it done. I call it disorganized lived in look. I didn't get that Organizer Gene, along with the spilling, book keeping and cleaning, my sister hogged all of them, then again, I would be her not me
But it would have been nice if I got get a little of each,

I am limited on selection of drinks, no ice, a lot of water. Water is good.

On YouTub i watched in French, Poule de Marans, and I do NOT pronounce it even close to the French Marans. My all American English I guess is how I shall continue to say it. But it is interesting.

I got them at the local feed store. I looked up a photo of what they'd look like grown up and I had to have em. Adorable cheetah spots and the neat comb. Hoping they are decent layers in the next few months. Any pics of yours???
