yes,, I had just called you to see if he hadn't been dead long enough whether he could still be put into freezer camp or not. hate that I used my time and energy into him and organic food All Now,,going down the drain....he was probably about 3 1/2 plus months old and deceased, he weighed 17.6 pounds he was a white broad breasted turkey. It looked like he had fallen off the large container and broken his neck there was nothing that appeared to have bitten him.

Well I salvaged meat off a tom turkey that had been killed by a bobcat...but it was in February and temperatures were cold. Plus I pressure cooked the meat to make sure everything was sterile. This time of year, if he was already stiff, I would hesitate as you don't know how long he was dead and it is so hot out. It is very common for broad breasted turkeys, toms especially, to have heart attacks although that is pretty young. Usually they keel over when they are bigger as their little hearts can't keep up with the big body.

thank you Desert Marcy, he'd seemed like he may have been dead since the morning time or the evening before, I couldn't quite tell but in his stool had been wet so maybe he hadn't been deceased for very long. But there had been ants on him and he was pretty hot as he was in found the full sun

I seen that sorry for your loss, i never had any luck with turkeys they always died on me.

I'm a close friend of the family and it's been 7 years since he was murdered. He was just found guilty this past week and Channel 12 screwed it all up. They showed a pic of Tony's mother crying and said she was the Killers mother. Then they tried to fix it and apologize and they screwed it up again and said the officers name as the killers. Ugh. Just shows how little of what they say is true.
