Arizona Chickens

Hilarious @a little chiken
that is too funny. I have seen it before. I think he tied the feet.

Thank you.

@a little chiken is this true and if so how old are they? Pics?

I do have kittens but I did not offer them because they have not been raised with a feral mom, they have been raised in the house from a bottle fed mama. I have some neutered older male cats that had a feral mama but they have been raised in my house so they are all quite spoiled. if you go on my farm page on FB there are pics or I will get you some if you want. they are both tabbies, one male and one female.

Me too! Whenever I see them I get all excited and want to cuddle them! Haha! They are "Mille fluer" Bantam Cochins. My avatar grew up to be this handsome guy:

I wasn't suggesting that you get a dog. I was suggesting that we come over and do a little hunting of our own at night. Lol

Well that is mighty kind of you to offer

but it is a long drive for you and I'm afraid it would just be futile. Nothing in the traps again yesterday, haven't been out yet this morning but I'm going to just go ahead and put the wire down now so I can put birds back in that pen and set the traps back on top of the wire. Maybe the sight of birds in there again will lure it in. I am becoming more and more convinced it was NOT a bobcat after all because every other problem I've had with a bobcat, they come back and get caught.

I do. I do! Georgette needs a BF!

Probably couldn't make it up til sometime next week, though ...

Great! As soon as I posted that he wasn't crowing I went back outside to hear him trying it out. Hopefully I can keep him quiet enough before neighbors start complaining. PM me and we will work out a meeting. I'm in NE Mesa.

Update on my predator attack: still nothing in the traps after 3 nights. Maybe tonight :fl   I just won't rest easy until I catch it, but if it is a fox, may not go for the trap. Oh, and one of my Blue Ameraucana pullets must have hurt herself that night of the attack, because now she can't walk, her leg is sprawled out. She was in a pen adjacent to the birds that were killed and was having problems that next morning. She is in isolation now but not sure if she will recover. Mentally, I still haven't recovered :hit

I'm working on the turkey pens that are most vulnerable right now. Got a trench dug and cement poured at one gate entrance. Will do another gate the same way tomorrow, dig out those grape vines and put wire skirts down.

:hugs
