You already got confirmation on the speckled Sussex.
The other does look like my 21 week old Cream Legbar pullet and given that you did get a blue egg, I would say she probably is a cream legbar or is at least 1/2 CL.

I dunno, I googled and don't think she is. 

It appears to me that the hen has a rose comb. Legbars have straight combs. She is reasonably similar in color to a legbar and may be a cross.

This is probably a stupid question, but here goes...

For any of you guys who have had your chickens go through a molt before, could you tell me if this is normal? My SS Hamburg roo lost all of his tail feathers and they are growing back very quickly, but where the feathers are emerging from looks weird, like the feather is coming out of a plastic straw. Here's a picture -

Thats how the feathers come out at first, then they pick off and "shed" the straw part. Love the colors!

Yes, my CL has a straight comb, I was looking at feather coloring and missed the rose comb. Good catch!

Thanks very much! I was a bit worried because they're so big on his tail feathers. Lol! I love his coloring. His tail feathers were so beautiful, it was kind of funny to see him as a rumpless rooster for a couple of weeks.

we had parrots and they would love it when you groomed them and helped pick off the straw things! I bet he was super awkward/adorable!

yup, looks like a rose comb to me too! I will have to look again tomorrow, but i zoomed the pics and I think so too. still a pretty little cross. she SCREAMS like a peacock when you pick her up. literally sounds like you are murdering someone, hahahahah
