He will get used to it. We all do. I'm born AZ, but DH was AirForce. We moved from here to Guam and the the maids in motel thought I was nuts for turning the AC off. Then we moved to CO where they had record wind chills that first year..... -50°, then to some other placed with same temps, then GA, SW Texas below Houston, the moved back here in July 2001 right when we were having record heat.. had to unload a uhaul in 15 intervals because it was 118. I keep my house at 80 in the summer and well........ don't need a heater much... LOLGrats on the first egg!
The fiancé has already acclimated quite well but then he isn't from Alaska like I am so that too be expected. I figure in another few months I will have been here almost a year and will be fitting in just fine. Like I always tell him as long as I can have my garden and my chickens/turkeys I can put up with just about anything else.
They say "but it's a Dry Heat"... I've been in humidity, I do like the dry heat more. but HOT it HOT..................
