Oh boy, I need a support group! I just put up my incubator and related items 3 days ago.
What did I do last night????? Bid on Phage's CCL eggs and WON!!

So, now I have to haul everything back out and get set up again for eggies. YAY! LOL

Eggcited for sure! Wish me luck on a great hatch, please. These are special.

OMG...I can just imagine the two of us in a "support group"...as in "I totally support your willingness to hatch even more eggs".

Good luck with your hatch! I just did a Day 10 candling on mine. Only 2 Ameracauna eggs left and 9 Dorking eggs, though I'm only confident about 7 of them. And in the second week of May I have more Dorking eggs coming. Oh boy!!!!

ROTFLMAO, yep, we are a lost cause, aren't we? Hatching is such fun! Waiting for the little critters to pip is nervewracking. Love it. Good luck on your remaining eggs. Hope they all hatch. Remember to send pics, ok?

Unique looking chicken with a spikey hairdo on the top of the head. LOL They lay blue eggs.

My local feral cat had kittens in my yard.

I guess there is always water, shelter and something or another to eat. I think some of the neighbors feed her even though they say she's not their cat. So there are at least three orange tabby kittens toddling around, eyes just opened, and so far smart enough to evade the dogs. I got the mom and two of the kittens trapped and mom goes in for the big snip in the morning. The kittens aren't big enough to alter yet. I'm hoping I can handle them enough that they stay friendly.

Going to try this batch of eggs in the incubator and brooder instead of a broody. I'm hoping to find some other eggs to put in with hers, I should have room for more.

Okay I am in on this group. I now have three incubators running and had to tell one breeder to hold my shipment until today so I did not have to buy another one. In the Brinsea 48 I have Black Sex Links...... Pure breed dark Cornish.... Cornish Barred Rock Cross...... And Isbars.................. In The Brinsea 24 I have what I hope are Ayam Cemani and Black Copper Marans then last but not least is the styrofoam bator which has Blue Copper Marans...... Waiting to go in are more of RI/Barred Rock Sex Links............... Ayam Cemani to replace the wrong eggs sent and Polish Tolbunts Frizzle/smooth............ And Lavender Marans I forgot I even ordered since I had to wait so long to get them. I think I am going to sign up as a poster child in the group LOL



The Cemani and Black Copper are on day 19 of lockdown and will start pipping any time now
