Arizona Chickens

Went and visited @desertmarcy this morning, and came home with 11 BCM chicks, 2 black Ameraucanas, and 4 blue Ameraucanas. They are all settled in their new brooder and sleeping the sleep of the innocent. In other news, tossed all my fly traps today, and put down a few inches of straw in the run, and the fly population has already noticeably decreased, and smells better too! Spent this evening tuning up a new bow, and get to shoot some arrows tomorrow at my leftover straw bales, and fine tune the sights. Must also set up the incubator tomorrow, will be setting some Jersey Giants and Partridge Cochin eggs.

Shooting arrows sounds like fun!! It is hard to leave empty handed from there!!

I would love a silver lace! But open to any Polish or Frizzle.
I have some white hens and a white roo.

roo

hens (not a great picture, but if you are close, then you could come take a look? (the black and white one in the middle is not for sale, she is my DF favorite, lol)

Do you ever have problems with ants making off with the pupae? I've had problems for sure with birds especially, your screen/shade cloth is a good idea. I usually use wire that I have made into squares to put around and protect new plants, with a wire top. Then I just put the pupae on the ground with the wire around them.
What are these never heard of them. Are they for over by the chickens or everywhere outside
