Arizona Chickens

LOL, No, and no plans to move to Arizona. I've been through the state a few times, just on Route 10. My family is in CA, so I plan to stay here.

thanks for asking!

What part of CA I am from there moved to AZ last August. I am on my way to visit my family in Hemet this weekend. I would not trade my 5 acres here in Kingman for the rat race in CA for anything. My family is only 5.5 hours away. And really it gives them a place to stay when they want to go to Vegas, Laughlin or the Grand Canyon. Welcome to the group. I am a charter member of the Chicken intervention club with 4 different breeds of Marans, Isbars, Cream Crested Legbars which I am picking up in San Diego this weekend. LOL lets be real, if I am going to drive all the way to CA to visit family might as well get some chickens while I am there. Hence the club membership. Lets see also have Fly Tie Hackle, Phoenix and two breeds of Cochins. Ohhh yes and Tolbunt Frizzle/smooth. It only takes one chicken to touch your heart and take over your life in a good way they are awesome

Any NE Tucsonans that want to have coffee at LeBuzz? I have six hens that are my egg suppliers and also my pets. Wanna talk chicken?
Terri

I live down in Green Valley. I'd love to talk chicken with you...but not this week. I'm nearly overwhelmed with all I have to do this week, but we should definitely set something up.

I'll be up at the Eloy detention center for a detainee notarizing some documents. I don't imagine you'd want to meet me over there, lol. PM me if you'd like

Sure I could - just not my preferable!!! LOL I'm only about 3 miles from there.......BUT we had to put our 14 year old pug girl down this morning - she said it was time - and we are both blubbering messes. DANG you just don't know how attached you are after 14 years. She was a daddy's girl so my DH is really hurting.

No way, how awesome!! :goodpost:

Yeah, good luck trying to catch the dude!! If he wants to go home he will.. But it's highly unlikely..

Blessings from above.. Is he really loud?

No - not very loud but I know his call.  He has no females around so that probably makes a difference.  He pretty much free ranges and comes by the yard for breakfast and dinner.  I'm researching if there is such a thing as a peacock "feeding station".

What a joy to come out and see him!! Well I hope you figure it out.. Let us know..
