Arizona Chickens

We have a little hut for the chickens and the goats. I think that the body heat will keep them happy. We also have a lot of straw in the hut. The new babies, though, are inside.

I guess they have an advantage all being together.

What are DS showbirds? (sorry for the stupid question)

Looks to me like they haven't done business since 2002.

Hey Elgin, perhaps we could start with our hovabators and eventually we could turn it into a conglomerate! You could handle the south of the State, I could do the central and then we'd have to find someone in Prescott or Flag.

Of course then we'd have to order Dickey or Sportsman Inc. AND Hatchers.

Sorry, DS is dear son. He is in 4-H and has 6 pairs of showbirds.

If any of them hatch, we'll have extras! we are about 20 miles south of Sonoita, on the way to Parker Canyon Lake. I'll post some pictures of the little critters when (or if ) they hatch.

Oh, thank goodness, I thought that was what you meant. Then I started wondering if I had missed something.

I shut the windows in the coop and locked them in. It's a virtual downpour out there right now.

My son is on a two day field trip with the Ambassador students from Germany that are with us for 10 days. This morning they did the Grand Canyon and on the way back into Flag their bus slid off the road. They must have been close to Flag because many of them had to walk to the motel where they were staying in the snow, but reports are that there were no injuries.

Well, I could always track down the 5000 egg incubator in whatzhiznames barn.

Well, I just happen to have a website just waiting to be built! We could post all over the world!!! Am I getting carried away?

Ooh! I like Parker Canyon Lake. Maybe a weekend venture!

Mahonri, I hope all is ok with your son. What a thing to remember about a trip. Hopefully, the rest of his trip will be uneventful.
