Nice pics! I like being able to see mountains without a sea of rooftops blocking the view!

Agree. Gorgeous. I'm always amazed how varied the colors of sunset & sunrise can be. Here, least to me, seems more vibrant, alive, even mystical than other places I've lived. Don't get me wrong there's beauty & I think magic in all of them... Just something more to it here.

You could frame some of those. Especially the one with the peacock looking like it's decision time...I think the thought is, 'straight, left, right, or thru the bushes. Hmmmm, suppose I could go back for dinner...'

Pretty bird too.

Try isolating each hen until it lays. Then you will know for sure who lays which eggs.

That's an idea. I just hate to break up their mini groups. Naturally their groups fall along the lay similar egg lines. If I use that concept in that a few of them stick to an area that could narrow. Course none of them are like my older sultan who goes on a loud rampage over her egg. Not broody as she won't sit, but boy does she go off & let's the whole yard know.

Yeah, I have a few opera singers in my groups too. And unfortunately I have one rooster that insists on "singing" at the top of his lungs whenever his favorite girls lay an egg, and he does NOT have a good singing voice. I've run outside with a rifle in my hands more times than I can count thinking that some kind of predator was threatening my flocks only to find Zazzle (his name) strutting around like a peacock, singing the praises of his girls. He's a gorgeous bird and meets many of my breeding standards so I'm keeping him for now, but his "song" is really getting under my skin.

This is Zazzle:
