Best to candle on 7th day, and then 18th day. I wouldn't bother them much as you can do damage!! I always wash my hand's before and after handling those eggs. You never know what you might pass on to them from other places you have been.

Yes! That is one of my silver laced polish chicks. That one is starting to get head feathers making it look like a mowhawk.

I found who I’m buying hatching eggs from. Wins lots of poultry shows so super excited. Emma is laying again so hoping she decides to go broody in August.
