If there is a offerup.com or craigslist in your neighborhood, you could try posting "low cost chickenpoop for plant mulch" just require that they do all the heavy lifting...


if you have room for chickens... you can do a small compost pile in a corner, or in Tempe, the city will give you a recycle can with hole cut in it to mulch in.

I just use dirt, they like to scratch in it, and take dust baths, I wanted to try sand, but it's $22 for the sand and $70 for delivery.... It just won't fit in my lil car

Granulated zeolite. I use it like cat litter on my poop board.

Was at the payson rodeo which was great but I now look like a lobster. No cover at that arena. Cheyenne we were covered at least.

I used shaving cream on my arm and it does feel better.

I was in the New Orleans area one year, and I got sunburned to the point of looking like a lobster. They poured vinegar on me to help take out the burn sting, but I had to smell like vinegar for awhile. A few day's later my skin started peeling like crazy. The best thing that you can do for your burn now is to keep a moisturizing lotion on it.

WITH cat litter. We use it (though not for cats) with recycled newsprint litter (Yesterday's news) and pine pellets for all of our rabbits' litter boxes. Helps SO MUCH with the smell

Tomorrow and Monday are going to be a bit hotter, and the chickens are used to lower temps so it won't be without a bit of suffering
I'm treating the days as if they are 115 bc the chickens have gotten used to cooler temps
