Arizona Chickens

@KDOGG331 On getting the dog to take the hormone supplements, is there a way that you could crush it up between 2 spoons, and then mix it up into a scrambled egg for your dog? That's what I do to get Buster to take his med's.

Unfortunately it's a powder so it's harder. I tried dipping chicken in it and even PB but he could smell it. But I actually got two similar ones and the one I haven't tried yet I think is liver flavor so maybe he will try that one. He can be pretty picky and he's smart so he knows when it's in there lol

What about mixing the powder up into a meatball for him then? That way it's actually in there instead of just on there.

That might work. And I do have some ground meat I bought recently for him (ground beef, ground turkey, ground bison) so maybe I could try putting it deep in one of those or cooking them or something.

It might ruin the potency of the powder if you mix it into a meatball and then cook it? I'd give him the raw beef.

That's true. I was thinking raw originally but then I was also thinking maybe cooking the meatball could make it easier to get the powder inside? Or to smell better for him to ignore the scent of the other stuff?

I guess that you could try that, since you said that your dog is a picky eater. My dog loves tomatoes, and will even eat my left over salad as long as it has the ranch dressing on it. :gig

LOL OMG! Funny thing is actually Gator loves broccoli and green beans and I think asparagus :lau he'll eat brocolli raw sometimes but also adding ranch dressing to anything he will eat it. The cat loves asparagus too and always steals it if we leave it out. Chomp chomp chomp and paws it out of the bowl :lau :sick and butter lol

Buster get's his share of broccoli too, and I give him a bit of raw carrot. If I gave him a whole carrot, he would eat it all.
