You mean like this imported beef? Why do we have to import beef when we have so many cow's here already?

I doubt that. The feedlot's are full of the beef cow's. I live rural so go past them when I go into town, and there's another one over near where we go to target practice at.

What you really need is the water to grow the grains that feed the cattle... i remember reading an article about U.S. grain producers using Tons (literally) of scarce water to grow grains/food.. that get sent overseas or are used for meat going overseas. So essentially our food goods and our water is leaving.

Maybe grow azolla or duckweed to help feed the cattle?
