That happens everywhere. There was a family run beef processor in Chino Valley that got shut down by the same types, the older generation could not keep it operating and lost their grand-fathered in status. I was looking at places nearby, and wanted to live there so it would keep the "NO animal" people away. Fat chance, they out number us. I am trying to get as many of my neighbors here to keep chickens as I can. The more of us that there are, the less places for the anti-animal people to move in. Far more disturbing is the guy across the street from us with the very loud rap music. He was blasting it all day yesterday. We have tried twice to talk nicely to them about lowering the volume, yesterday my husband called the cops. The cops said they did not think his music was too loud!
I wish I could live somewhere just once in my life where neighbor problems do not occur. Miles out of town is not even safe, though.

I know what you mean. Even over here in Maricopa, more businesses and home's are being built on my end of the city. A few years ago they were about to start building homes way too close to me, and I was glad when the housing crash happened and put a stop to it.

I know, now here we go again with house prices through the roof. I am getting too old to move again. I hope my husband calms down, but the jerk across the street had his music on again at ~6:30 am this morning.

They just don't know any better they don't have the Bible or God to teach them what is right and what is wrong. Here is a good Bible verse: "Flee immortality. Every other sin a man commits outside the body, but the immoral man sins against his own body. " 1 Corinthians 6:18

It’s not that they don’t know better and haven’t read the bible. It’s not a psychological issue that you can treat or throw a book at. It’s a physical attraction just like how you picked out your spouse. I’m sure church is full of men but you pick THE ONE to be your partner.

If god is omnipotent then there must be a reason for gay people to exist. If we are to shun them then why create hate and discontent among his children? Then again, the bible is full of atrocities committed by god on his children so I shouldn’t be surprised.

I wouldn't worry too much. I smell another housing crash on the horizon. People will be buying up bigger houses then they can afford and that will put them in debt.

Same thing we have a neighbor who is literally a squatter he has junk piled up everywhere, he is also on a hill so literally everyone can see it. Always plays the worst music, which ecos into our property. If you get to know him he is a decent guy but still, we don't like seeing his junk right next to our property.

Ever notice that the volume is inversely proportional to the quality of music? It just seems the most generous of music sharers always listen the the shittiest music.

I’m trying to remember a time in my life where I walked over to the neighbors and said, “That’s great music you’re listening to, can you please crank that up?”

Fat chance of that. We have already had people move in over here that complained about the feed lot's that have been here for decades. They act like just because they moved in that the feed lot's should go away.

There was a big court case on similar with Sun City. They deliberately built Sun City way out in the middle of nowhere to maximize their profits by not having to spend on infrastructure, then people moved there and complained about the feed lot. The court said the residents were "coming to the nuisance" and although the dairies would have to shut down as del webb (developer) asked, del webb would have to compensate them, because they knew better than to build a city out in the middle of nowhere right next to a feedlot.

me too. I hear music and partying occasionally, yet I have to worry about my hens' egg song and don't dare get a rooster.

Sometimes when I walk outside to relax the chickens start squacking like crazing! It's like they know I want it to be quiet so they just ruin it for me.
