Have they given you any egg's yet?A black sexlink, two gold sexlink, and one brahama
I remember that. Maybe I should have said a chance to use it again. It needs more than one or two hatches to be well tested. Not that I'm being a chick enabler or anything....I used it in August for that smaller test hatch from my flock. Don't you remember? I ended up with 4 hatched out of 6 egg's.
Yes, they are two October 26 is thier hatch day. We'll be having a mini party for them. Lol. They got hatch day sashes.Have they given you any egg's yet?
It will be getting more testing soon enough, because I plan on getting more egg's from the same person on ebay. I didn't pick the one's there that you have to bid on. I picked the one that said buy now, so I didn't have to play around with it.I remember that. Maybe I should have said a chance to use it again. I think we will be eating chicken for Thanksgiving. No shortage of cockerels here in the grow pen.The price of everything is going up. Look for the price of your groceries to go up 10% in about another month. They are also talking about a shortage of Thanksgiving turkey's, so if you can find one now buy it before they aren't there.
Thinking seriously of guard donkey or guard goose or both at some point. The neighbors goose did survive! He thinks it was coyote(s). I was also surprised it didn't take a goat.Won't you need a mule or a donkey to take care of those coyotes?
I hear you! There's no way that I would even pay $100.00 for a live turkey on CL that I could butcher for Thanksgiving. I usually do ham or lamb anyway's for the Holiday's. I did however get an email this morning from the FDA recalls, and Lamb shoulder from New Zealand is on recall for not being properly inspected.I think we will be eating chicken for Thanksgiving.
