I have been so busy lately I haven't been able to do anything but the check the food/water in the coop. This my "vacation" morning (though after 12AM I'm back at it!) and I finally got the chance to give my girls some attention.
Pooky the EE is drop dead gorgeous. I love Ameraucana neck plumage that most EEs have, it's very full and bird of prey like. I am tempted to buy some more but I promised myself to stick with my current waiting order. :C

On another note they are eating everything! Is it normal to go threw these growth spurts and try to gobble everything in site? Fat chooks!

I tried to take pictures of the EE however they came out to be horrendous in quality. So instead take this!

I've felt sad about killing things many times, but I've never felt like I was torturing anything. And I know the food I raise and hunt/fish and forage for is the most wholesome, responsible food I can feed my family.

Ah no, what Im saying is I used to shoot paintball guns at squirrels. Lots and lots of fun but still sort of mean. Hunting isn't bad at all.
