Bob's Henhouse :

Tried to turn the water on to water the grass seedlings at 7:00 and the water was frozen in the hose.

Bob, hope no pipes burst! I'll go insulte everything tomorrow that I can't turn off. Thanksgiving is supposed to be even colder

Did you put the heat on yet?

My wife is 66 years old and still having hot flashes. She had the front door and windows open.

Brrrrrrrrr!

Okay, so I need some help. I mentioned that one of the 2 month old chicks crowed yesterday. It was a pretty hilarious crow, but it counts. I like all 4 of these chicks, but can't have 2 roosters. My silkie rooster is a little angel, so I am keeping him. Anyway, I suspect the Polish. Those wattles are kind of big, but don't they have big ones anyway? He/she has always had an issue with having to be on something high and often spills the food and water. That is our smallest chick, but isn't it a small breed anyway? I will add pics of all 4 and y'all can tell me what you think, if you don't mind.

Shoot! Well, thanks. I was afraid of that. He is so stinkin' cute and friendly now. I hate to get rid of him. But, I want to protect my other rooster, too. Maybe I will keep him until spring and then go trade him for a chick at the feed store in Tucson.
