Arizona Chickens

Well, my DS and I just got back from cooping in his chickens for the show tomorrow. We'll be back out there at 8:00am in order to get the birds all spiffyed up for the judging.

For anyone who is going tomorrow, I will be wearing a dark blue jacket with embroidered flowers along the zipper. I have long, blonde, curly hair and will be hanging out all day. You might see me with my 14 yr old DS, hotwing stables, who is about my heighth, has dark hair, bright blue eyes and braces. If you see us, say "hi".

Anyone going to the Tucson show tomorrow? Went last year, but I don't think I'll be able to make it this year...

I really, REEEAAALLLLLY need some Araucanas. Really, really badly. Very, very, really, really, super duper badly. REALLY badly.

I got another new layer today, actually tonight. One of the Appenzeller Spitzhauben's laid tonight and it was broken too. They laid it from the perch.

Here's a photo of a Harris Hawk. This wasn't in my back yard, the one I saw was two times this size.

Dang I forgot the poultry show is today. I really wanted to go but I have to work

. I wish I would have thought about asking someone earlier to buy me some pretty hens and then I could come buy them from you but not sure how well that would work anyhow..since I wouldn't be able to see them beforehand. If anyone ends up buying more than they want let me know

I'm headed to Exit 208 to meet Tucson Tofu in about 30 mins.... I should have just gone down later and gone to the show, but I have way to much to do when I get back.

I have totally ENJOYED this long weekend. It's been wonderful and I even had to run to the office Thanksgiving morning to recement my accountant's crown. It's just been a great holiday time.

I've got to go to a feed store and get more packages of "Just One Bite". I'm almost afraid to use it though cuz now they could be living in my roof.
