Arizona Chickens

Well the Mille Fleurs are part of the flock now

I just put them all in the outdoor coop for a little mixed clouds and sunshine and they are all getting along like they have always been together. We'll see what happens when they all go back into the brooder

My cat is having a cow sitting in the den window, he's listening to the chicks outside peeping - LOL!

not ready for the snow are we are to get tonight...I still have 1000 pounds of feed to put away....I just needed to eat. Using all the kids to get things put away and it is looking like it is going to rain any minute......I am even using other peoples kids. If it was just putting away feed it wouldn't be a big deal.But it is feeding everyone and checking them and checking to make sure they all have straw in their houses so when the rain and we will get snow too comes down everyone will be alright. Sometimes I wonder why I do this....

I also live in Gilbert and have chickens ....I have been wanting to learn about being a soaper...can I join for coffee also!!!

Have any of you soapers made it out of goats milk? I want to try but I'm so busy (and the goat acts like her tail is on fire when I try to catch her - I don't think she has been handled much).

Well, I spoke too soon

Once back in the brooder Ivy turned back into a witch. So I'm posting her on Craigslist, anyone here want a mean to smaller chicks kind of pullet? I would give her to anyone on the list who wants her

I'm just worried she will kill them when I'm at work tomorrow, and I feel like putting the bantams in a teeny rubbermaid isn't fair to them.

hes a.. geekish guy breed. Nice condition, sweet as anything (wont eat out of your hands though) Black "feathering", but a white face and skin (not Spanish..
