We have an English Mastiff...she is to lazy, to large and to slow to chase away the pidgeons and the grackles...I doubt it will dawn on her to chase a chicken....LOL

Ok, we're making progress! I had them eating out of my hand today! Once I got ahold of them, they would sit still for about 30 sec before trying to flap away. We were a bit mean and pulled them out of the next box and then blocked it off with some cardboard to force them to play and hang out in the rest of the coop for a little while, but they seemed to be having a good time kicking all the shavings out of the way. I added a shallow round planter I had lying around and put some sandy dirt in it for them to play - no interest yet.

Only a few more posts and I can finally put a picture!
