Arizona Chickens

How much should you handle teh chicks. They are 5 days old and I want them to be used to us but dont want to handle them more than we should.

thx
Shaun

I don't think there's a limit, Shaun. I've heard of people putting a towel on their laps and holding their birds for hours that way. But then, maybe if they get too attached to you, you'll have chicken stalkers peeking in through the window and creeping you out?

OMG, the Farmers Market was GREAT! And I am exhausted from the running around, but very happy and fulfilled.

I ended up getting shanghaied into running the market's educational outreach booth, so I hired a friend's teenaged daughter to sell eggs and worms, and show off our Spokesduck. Couldn't have gone better

And today will be great too, as tball chicky is coming over to check our our setup... so I'd better log off, pound my coffee, and start cleaning up the crap the wind's been blowing around the yard

I am shocked! Is it possible they meant 6 days, verus 6 weeks? I can't imagine anyone thinking 6 week old eggs would hatch!

they were 6 weeks old and said they only sell
month or older eggs for hatching and they said
they still hatch they should be ashamed of their selfs
rip offs from the east valley god does not bless rip offs
plus they were cold they refrigerate them
these people show at the state fair there rip offs
buyers beware of them on craigslist
