What part of town are you in? We have been meeting at Coffee Rush on Gilbert and Baseline. We were floating to Seattle whatever by request.

You know, I'm not 100% sure on the breeds/colors yet. I need to sit down, print out some pics and figure it out. I know the ones with the green marks on their heads are the Cuckoo Marans. I assume the blonde-ish ones are the Easter Eggers ("Ameracaunas" grr)

...and then that blond/ash chipmink one I think is an Easter Egger, too. I think the reddish chipmunk ones with the red tip on the beak are the Speckled Sussex, and the black chipmunk ones are the Silver Laced? Or maybe the Plymouth Rocks??? Aiy. I hope I can tell them apart.

I can't keep up here, I have missed too much!

TT! Congrats! Cute chicks, sorry about the one you lost. The Aloha chicks are beauties.

Bethany Yippee! I was also sooo worried until I saw how truly self-sufficient they are. Thank goodness for precocial chicks! I might recommend that you find homes for the ones you want to keep as soon as you can. It just gets harder! Great photo with your daughter, too.

Smiles - I make my own yogurt and give it to the hens, dogs, and now the chicks (we eat it, too). It is super easy, you don't need a "yogurt maker," and it is better than the stuff from the store.

I am sure I am forgetting several other notable events here, but my laptop is about to die. Sorry if I missed congratulating anyone on their happy event, or expressing sympathy for a bad one.
