Arizona Chickens

I had a peach tree in Mesa, up by Red Mountain, when I was a teenager. We would stand outside, lean over to prevent drippage, and eat peaches right off the tree. We'd fight the ants for them.

I have never had anything so good as a peach from my own tree. SO--why not plant your own? There are plenty of heat-hardy varieties---you;d just have to choose your planting window wisely.

I should borrow your wife, SHE liked my setup and she wasn't even sure she wanted chickens.

I wish I could come along, but I have to work

Found a good home for my roo, the guy said he just picked up 8 hens a few blocks down the street from me because some jerk neighbor complained to the HOA.

Have a big beautiful Barred Rock, approx 6 months old and a (I believe) beautiful Partridge Rock approx 6 months old. These boys are loud (according to my husband).

I can deliver, but only up to Tucson.

Thanks!!!
