Sure, we can make it into a party. At least this time it won't be 115 degrees. Or, me by myself on a Friday night, while we try to irrigate and have a steak and movie date night. Because one of the Cornish crosses decides to have a heart attack over irrigation!

So I have about 8 - 10 weeks to build a Chicken Plucker?

Does any one have (or have access to) one of those blue poly drums (barrels) that has not been setting out in the sun for a while?

My favorite jelly so far is habanero gold. It has dried apricots and I sub all hot peppers instead of sweet. Second favorite is actually a runny preserve that I made with pears and vanilla beans.
I made a really yummy apple syrup for pancakes or english muffins last year from the juicing leftovers. Just let them drip for two days and made that into syrup. So good!

If I can get my pomegranate tree figured out you can have some of mine.
I read that they are ready about the time you start seeing the bugs that bore into them. Well, we have the bugs but the seeds are still white and don't taste very good.
I haven't been able to figure this one out for 3 years now.
Even Tree Land (that usually helps me with these kinds of problems) is clueless.
I'm about ready to pull it out and plant something else!
Also, my mature lemon tree has 2 lemons on it this year and my orange only has a few. Pitiful. Other years we haven't been able to keep up with the citrus.

In June we purchased their broadband. Couldn't get it to work so returned it in July, for refund and canceled service.

Mid August we get the bill... It's an outrageous amount, come to find out internet was never canceled and I was being billed for the hook up fees and all!

Went into the store that we returned the equipment , and talked to manager. What a disaster! Computer says we were disconnected but billing says diff.!!

So again it was canceled at that time! And I was told there would be a credit of $170 to the account for the hook up fees. I have a receipt that says so dated Aug . 15th!

Get bill in Sept. and internet is still on it, and no credit!

I called customer service and they called the store I had been to and there is no record of me being there!!!! But I have receipts!
I can't believe this!!!
The bill is to a point of disconnect and I told them they are not getting one dime until this is resolved!!!

I have to go into the store again this weekend and do this all over again! Now the credit due is even larger due to still being billed for internet I don't have.

Has anyone else ever had anything like this happen? I just can't believe how drug out it's become and how stupid this all is!

Sorry... just had to vent.....

You have to out weenie them. Call the billing department 3 times a day until it is resolved (Just like they are about to do to you). Tell them you are filing suit for harassment if this is not resolved immediately! To bad you cannot sue stupidity.

I love prickly pear! My neighbor has a huge one in their yard and its full of red fruit. I might go and ask if I can have them. I'll share if they let me! Are you interested??
