Those things have foamed in place insulation like a water heater. The adhesive properties of the foam might be keeping the back on.

Picts please!

I can't yet figure out my stuuuuuupid transfer photo to byc thing. Keeps saying that I'm not connected to the internet

GRRRRRR!

ARIZONA CHICKEN LOVERS!!! I have decided it is time to find better home for 'BIG ROO' aka 'Albion' he will still get his portrait painted entitled 'BIGGER THAN LIFE' but he needs a bigger environment with more hens than I can provide. Nor do I have the time or inclination to 're-train' an aggresive Roo. He is such a WELSUMER beauty though and only 5 months old...

Will consider free to good home NO SOUP POT!

And maybe an exchange with his 2 - 5 month old WELSUMER LADIES for a more mature proven docile ROO of any kind.

I have lotsa wee young folks around here and art students I don't need a BIG ROO to frighten them away!

If you are interested or know someone who might be contact me here and I will get in touch! PS I am in N AZ - Cottonwood! but have friends in Tucson...

How old is she?

I am not sure her age. I got her from aurorarose25 the end of July and she was thinking 12 weeks then. If that is the case, it would make her 7 months?

HELP!!!! My BCM is egg-bound, I'm pretty sure. She has been sitting in her nesting box for a few days, off and on, and today she looks very swollen on her bottom side. I think I know what to do, but I'm not sure, being a new chicken owner and all. She hasn't laid any eggs, yet. Can anyone help?

Mikey, that was NOT appropriate behavior I want 'em BACK. Thery are shingles for my gingerbread house and my Walgreens doesn't carry nice old fashioned candy like neccos and AbbaZabba and red hots.

THANK YOU Tammy. It's not YOUR fault.

So when you come over to get your shinny new lab coat I'll have Neccos - whey'll ya be here?

I have to go get two computer fans. Finally got them out. One looks like it's supposed to run all the time and one had a sensor affixed to it??? The motor froze, it won't turn except with force. It's rather large, about 4 3/4 inch, and the other about 3 inch.

I'm off. Mikey, I will call

I would bring her in and soak her in warm water ( just up to her vent) for about half an hour. The warm water helps to relax her muscles. Towel her and even blow dry her on warm. I have a dog crate that I use for the "hospital" room. Keep it dark so she can rest. If her vent is swollen, I would apply hemorrhoid cream.

I just had to do this with my EE the other morning ( of course before work) After the bath, blow dry and cream, she laid an egg before I left for work. I hope this helps some.
