Mikey,
My husband wants to know where the dunk tanks are. All of a sudden he feels the need to weld something so he can dunk it.

AZZ Galvanizing
15775 W Ellwood street, Goodyear

Grant and JT are really nice guys - call them and bounce your ideas off of him as the galvanizing process is kind of finicky.

$150 minimum charge -
.45 per pound if it is one solid unit -
.65 per pound if there is a bunch of hand work (like the silly chicken coop!)

I know how he feels, it's so cool!

Are you sure the dunk tanks are big enough? That thing is HUGE!

The tank or "Kettle" is 8' wide, 9' deep and 23' long (& 850 Degrees of liquid zink!) - plenty big enough!

These are the guys that galvanize the giant light poles, freeway sign posts and U-haul trailers.

Very cool process!

Got an interesting Garden Question :)

What do you call it when you have green tomatoes with dark brown 'tunnels' all around the bottom...BUT no bugs, and when the fruit was cut open..no sign of rotting??
I thought it might be End Blossom Rot..but why would only one plant suffer? Then I scoured the plant for worms..None..Hmmm....

i have the seed box. i have been trying to get someone to take it from me, but no takers. the in-laws live off river road down there, i remember i picked it up in oro valley last august from someone, can't remember who tho. next time they are up this way, which should be after taxes(FIL is a cpa) i will send it down and someone will need to go and get it from him.
