THAT is a thing of beauty, for sure! Can someone post a pix of a olive egger? Do they all look similar, or is it irregular from crossbreeding? Do they breed true, if you breed an olive to an olive? Sorry, I could probably look this up on this web site, huh? I'll look it up, but can you still post pix of your AZ ones?

This is the one that layed the egg in the picture, she is black with a lot of copper around her neck. She is bearded like an Americauna or EE and has feathered feet like a Marans. Her shape is like an Americauna or EE.

Mahonri, every time we order flood irrigation..it rains! Ugh!

Also, I got two roos from you a while back. One is definitely a roo...the other (Mufasa) is still highly questionable. Looks more like a pullet to me, but then again I am not very good at sexing pure Ameracaunas .

Here are some pictures Mufasa. I took a lot, hoping you could tell the gender via these photos.

Also, the EE pullet that is about 2 weeks younger then Mufasa...crowed for the first time today! Guess I now have an EE roo

Mufasa has yet to crow...and I swear, when I went to capture Mufasa for photo taking today, he (she?) ducked down and raised his (her?) wings..the same manor a hen would do when ready to mate with a rooster. I dunno, could be wrong though. This one leaves me scratching my head.

I really hope you are able to tell by the photos..because I am simply dying of curiosity!

Here is some pics of the EE roo that was supposed to be a pullet. He crowed for the very first time this morning! Isn't he beautiful?

He is a few weeks younger then Mufasa. The white cochin pullet in Mufasas pictures and the EE roo pictures is the same girl. Her name is Marshmellow. Mufasa is about the same size as Marshmellow, the EE roo is much taller then Marshmellow. Mufasa's brother is also much bigger then Mufasa. Makes me wonder even more if Mufasa is a pullet. Hmm....if Mufasa is a roo...he was the runt of the litter!

I really need to find a name for this beautiful EE boy...what shall I name him?
