Arizona Desert Chickens!

Hi All,
My name is Mark and myself, wife and children are considering starting a chicken coop and we are going to have several questions along the way! First thing is that we are doing some research on local ordinances, coop types, feeding, egg laying, and proper care of them for the best eggs.
We are looking to get started with this adventure in about 6 months or so but we want to make sure that we are staying legal and that our animals will be well cared for.
Hope that we can talk with several members on this site to get our questions answered and have some great fun whike raising them.
