I have 2 first time broody Silkies sitting on 6 eggs among them. They steal them from each other and mostly one sits on more than the other. Just one week to go until hatch day. The last few days, once a day, sometimes twice I go and check and there is a stray egg, almost under them but not quite. The egg isn't really warm like the others either and I don't know how long it has been that way!! I hope they hatch!!! Yesterday I candled and it seemed they all were moving still (I think, I am a first time candler too). Is this normal....is there hope for my chickies??? I guess it helps that it is very warm and humid here for the last few days...
