if you do 3 "right hand" circles while holding the eggs before you put them in you get mostly hens,, if ya just put them in without the 3 turns,,, you get roo's ,,, sorry,,,, noone told you this?

nope,,, you need to balance it on ya nose,, and the side it falls too ( falls to your left) tells you the left side of the egg is the top

Oops. Been there, done that! Sorry, Kath! Are you sure they're ALL roosters? If one of Lexie's is in there, dont count it out yet. She has rooster-like coloring herself.

No, Cyn, its not the barred rocks, its the blue rocks. They are sex linked, so I know immediately when they dry whos he and whos she. Actually, Im thinking on the barred rocks that I did really well, Im seeing lots of very dark feathers and very defined head spots. I see 2 for sure that look roo-ish, large scattered white on the head, and very light down and extreme barring coming in. So I guess if I had to have a hatch with pullets, yours was the one that I really needed.
