I draw, and paint, though I probably won't post any of my oil paintings on the internet. And my drawings are probably not as good as any of you guys's. but can I join anyways? :3

Chickenfan ~ wow. The wolves are beautiful! the shading is awesome! I never take the time to shade my art. too lazy. :3 plus my style is more anime - manga-ish, so it's more 2D.

Anyone can join! And, thank you. Yup, those both took me in between 5 and 8 hours each and were both done on my laptop using a tablet and MS Paint.

Those are the progress images of a drawing of the border collie character I have dreamed up.

The shaded one is the final product.

Wow. that is a talent i lack, I can't draw anything with my laptop's Paint program to save my life. :3
I can, however, draw on paper, and I like the wolfish type, too.
My most recent picture is of a RP character, who started out as a wolf, Somehow turned into a werewolf (i am writing a book about her adventures), and is now being RPed as a scientist's experiment, splicing human, falcon, and wolf genes. I also use her name as my Minecraft username, StormDancer01.
I did color in this picture, but i haven't uploaded the colored one onto my laptop yet. :3 i willz, i pwomisez.

She has wings in all three forms, however, they aren't shown in werewolf form because i couldn't fit them in the page. :3
Well, she has wings in the RPs, but not in the story.

Wow, I like it! A lot of detail, there! Great job!

And don't ever feel bad about your artwork, you will get better. Feeling bad about it just makes it harder to improve.


That is how my drawings started! I wanted a cartoon style dog and had been trying to draw lions. The anatomy is so messed up!


After some practice with paper and a pencil, I used the trackpad on my laptop and drew this. It took me a long time, but I finally got it done and was ever so proud of my work. On my birthday, I got my first art tablet, and those wolf pictures I posted on the other page are what I have recently done. And now I am doing photoshop.

So, yeah, artwork is all about practice. I like your work, you should definitely keep drawing!

I think that's very good advise, I think.

I don't feel bad about my pencil and paper drawings at all. In fact, I would like to be a professional artist. I love art. I take my overstuffed pencil bag and clipboard everywhere. Restaurants, Grocery stores, the mall. I draw in the car, too. I draw myself to sleep many nights.
also, I'll have you know I have never taken drawing lessons, at least none that I can remember. Don't do internet 'how-to-draw's either.

I also love oil painting. I have only taken 4 lessons, though. Schedule problems prevented more. I would like to start up again, though.

But I can't do the computer. I don't know, it just turns out looking so lopsided! The only think I can do with my laptop's paint is make Minecraft skins. :3

Haha, you sound like me, except that all I know about digital art I have learned from people on DeviantART.

I am self taught on most everything related to just doodling, and cartoons. However, I am taking art classes for things like professional use of traditional medias.
