Hiding under a rock shhhh
I wanna seeeee

That's actually a pretty good horse. Well done.
It's good.
The legs are actually pretty proportionate to the barrel length. Nice job.
I love your horsey. Looks great.
I was so resistant to this kind of hair drawing. I've been moving more toward it now, because I think it looks better. But I've still been starting off my normal way and then changing it. Switching isn't easy. Doing girls hair this way is really hard for me too. That's actually a pretty good horse. Well done.
Any time that you spend time on it like that, you should be proud of it. It doesn't matter if it turns out the way you wanted it to or not, just know that most people can see the effort, and will honor that.
Plus you were up at like midnight, so bonus points.
Good job

One thing I noticed that might be holding you back (and don't feel bad because everyone does the exact same thing, including myself once-upon-a-time) is the way you do hair. I can see you maybe notice that and you're trying to improve. I mean, it's awesome and I'm being nit-picky about this. It's just keeping you from going to the next level.
What I do now is try to draw chunks of hair.
This isn't my favorite tutorial ever but it covers a lot of textures. A lot of artists are kind of leaning towards the Manga style hair, though you don't have to use it. You can just take my advice and throw it to the wind saying "pfft what do you know, loser?" Like I did 1,279 times when given advice.
There really are no laws in art but the one: "Make it look good" and you can take this however you want. Make it look good to you, make it look good to an audience blardy blardy blar.
Just do your best and forget the rest.

Oh, hey by the way. You need to start a folder or collection somewhere of your drawings. It will come in handy later. This horsey definitely needs to be kept. I don't know how old you are, but it looks awesome. I would be proud of that pony.
Thank you FanciThat's actually a pretty good horse. Well done.

I guess I'll post on here since the other art thread is dead. I do mainly animals in oil, graphite pencil, watercolour, and sometimes acrylic. I don't have much of it scanned, but I'll try to find the ones I have.

Thanks Rose!I love your horsey. Looks great.

Love it!
